After the past Wednesday night’s multi-state Powerball Lottery drawing yielded no grand prize, the new jackpot amount for this weekend’s drawing could be worth an estimated $212 million to a single winner.
Even though no one hit the jackpot in the mid-week draw Wednesday night, the lottery still handed out some really nice prizes to Powerball winners at other levels.
Wednesday nights winning numbers were 6, 14, 32, 38, 52 and the Powerball was 20. The Power Play multiplier was 3.
There were more than one million tickets sold across the nation for the drawing and Powerball winners took home more than $9.9 million in cash prizes.
Although the grand prize was not awarded, ten lucky tickets from Illinois, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Wisconsin, two in Idaho and three in New York matched all 5 white balls and won an impressive $200,000 cash prize.
One more lucky player in Pennsylvania matched all five numbers and purchased the Power Play option for an additional $1 and brought their prize up to $1 million.
Powerball Lottery drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59PM and is played in 41 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
