Tiger Woods Is Named Top Athlete Of Decade

In the wake of all this sex scandal stuff, it was tough for Associated Press voters to ignore what he achieved on the golf course. Or maybe it’s even tougher to think that he had the time for golf at all.

What is even crazier is that the AP has voted Tiger Woods their top athlete of the decade.

He won 64 times around the world, including 12 majors, and hoisted a trophy on every continent golf is played. He lost only one time with the lead going into the final round.

His 56 PGA Tour victories in one incomparable decade are more than most golfers have won in their entire careers.

Maybe the extra-marital stuff factored into the voting. All of that with like eight mistresses to keep happy, now that’s extremely impressive.
