Former New York Yankees manager Joe Torre was on Larry King Live Friday night to talk about the uproar that excerpts from his book “The Yankee Years” is causing. But Torre was making no apologies.

Torre says he is happy with the way the book turned out and he not sorry about anything.

First of all, how can conclusions be drawn about a body of work without reading the whole thing? Torre said himself that this whole thing is about 5 pages in a book that is about 500 pages long. Just silly.

Secondly, what are we talking about here? A-Rod being a primadona. His teammates calling him A-Fraud? Is this the first we heard about this? Is this something new? I think not. Maybe the “A-Fraud” thing is new. It’s kind of funny it you ask me. But did anyone not know that Alex Rodriquez is a separatist when it comes to the rest of his team.

Just read the book when it comes out. But I guess that not what the media does.
