Should The Jets Go After Ray Lewis

For New York Jets fans it would be very easy to say that they should sign Pro Bowl linebacker Ray Lewis if the opportunity arises. Lets face it, no matter what anyone says… Any defense with Ray Lewis in the middle of it will be better than without him.

But, he will be 34 and the Jets would only get a year or two out of Lewis. I guess a lot would have to do with the Brett Favre situation. If Favre comes back and plays for New York, the Jets would have to be in “win and win now mode.” I guy like Lewis would only help.

Obviously, Lewis has a relationship with new head coach Rex Ryan and the Jets defense has lacked intensity and motivation for years.

There would be no better motivator then Ray Lewis.
