Powerball Winner Takes Home $128.6 Million Jackpot

According to lottery officials, one lucky ticket holder in Kentucky matched all 6 numbers in the Saturday, December 27th multi-state Powerball Lottery drawing and won the $128.6 million jackpot.
The lucky winner will now have to decide to either take the 29-year, 30-installment annuity, or the one time cash “lump sum” amount of a little over $63.4 million.
Other big winners included one ticket in Colorado that matched all 5 white ball numbers and had the Power Play option for a $1 million prize.
Four more tickets sold in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, and Pennsylvania matched all 5 white ball numbers for a $200,000 cash win each.
The numbers drawn were 32, 36, 37, 41, 53 and the Powerball was 30. The Power Play multiplier was 3.
Powerball is now played in 31 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held each and every Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 PM Eastern Time.
