Powerball Lottery Jackpot Hits $150 Million

After Wednesday night’s multi-state Powerball Lottery drawing yielded no grand prize, the new jackpot amount for the weekend draw could be worth an estimated $150 million to a single winner.

Even though no one hit the jackpot on Wednesday night, Powerball still handed out some really nice prizes to winners at other levels.

Wednesday night’s winning numbers were 4, 36, 40, 44, 52 and the Powerball was 33. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

There were more than 893,000 tickets sold across the nation over the weekend that won more than $8.8 million in cash prizes.

Although the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, five lucky tickets from Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, New York, and West Virginia matched all 5 white balls and won an impressive $200,000 cash prize.

Powerball Lottery drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59PM and is played in 41 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
