Powerball Jackpot Rises To $145 Million

After Saturday night’s multi-state Powerball Lottery drawing yielded no grand prize, the new jackpot amount for the mid-week draw could be worth an estimated $145 million to a single winner.

That translates to a cash out option of nearly $72 million to the winner.

Even though no one hit the jackpot on Saturday night, Powerball still handed out some really nice prizes to winners at other levels.

Saturday night’s winning numbers were 15, 21, 23, 28, 36 and the Powerball was 20. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

There were a little over 1 million winning tickets sold across the nation over the weekend and about $7.4 million in cash was one.

Although the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, one lucky ticket in Delaware matched all 5 white numbers with the Power Play and won $1 million cash.

Powerball Lottery drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59PM and is played in 41 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
