Now What? Where Will Terrell Owens Land

Now that Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have ended weeks of speculation and parted ways with controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens, where will the player being called a cancer to the locker room end up?

Owens’ agent Drew Rosenhaus has indicated that negotiations have already been started with several teams and it won’t be long before the Pro-Bowler is signed.

“There are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell,” Rosenhaus said. “I have been in negotiations with these teams.”

Rosenhaus went on to say that he thinks a deal could be ironed out with the week, if not sooner.

But with who? What team would want such a huge distraction within there organization? One would think it would have to be a good team with a veteran head coach. I team with excellent chemistry already in place, a team that would be able to tame Owens, if that’s even possible.

Or, Al Davis’ Oakland Raiders. Over the years, Oakland has not let any player’s notoriously bad character stop them from giving a cast-out a home in the past. However, many believe this would be a huge mistake for the Raiders. I just don’t see Terrell Owens having the patience to deal with a young quarterback.

The Tennessee Titans have been another team whose name has been thrown into the mix, but Jeff Fisher is just too smart for that.

Where ever Owens lands, it is sure to be the same old media circus and nothing but a distraction.
