No Show T.O. - Owens Does Not Attend Bills Workout

The Terrell Owens saga may have already begun in Western New York. Buffalo’s newest receiver did not show-up for start of the Bills voluntary off-season conditioning program. However, the Bills and their strength and conditioning coach John Allaire downplayed his absence.

Allaire did say that he knows T.O. is a physical specimen and he stressed that the program is voluntary.

“He has a very good history of being in shape,” said Allaire. “We’re not anticipating anything different this year.”

On the surface, Buffalo may not seem concerned by this, but you would think that this must be raising the eyebrow of Bills brass. Given Owens’ reputation and that he is the team’s big-name signee, the Bills surely would have rather seen Terrell Owens attend.

Who knows? This may be nothing, but like anything T.O. does, this will be dissected under a microscope. Like anything, there will be critics and naysayers. Owens is a special talent, with huge upside. The Bills will be trying to keep the controversy to a minimum.
