NFL Futures - Super Bowl XLV Betting Odds
Posted Under: Football Betting
The 2010 NFL Draft is less than one week away and serious futures bettors are looking for any edge they can find to get an inside track to who will win Super Bowl XLV.
At this point, no one can truly say that they have a lock pick to take home the Lombardi Trophy, but it is still very interesting to analyse who will be successful in 2010.
Even before a team takes any snaps in training camp, Vegas prognosticators are posting odds and taking bets on the next NFL Champion. Off-season moves and injury updates loom large in the decision making process.
In fact, with the addition of Donovan McNabb, a six-time Pro Bowler, the Washington Redskins’ odds of winning it all jumped from 55-1 to 28-1 overnight. With the same move, the Eagles fell from 14-1 to 20-1.
Currently, the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts are the favorites at 8-1 and teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Rams are the biggest long-shots at 150-1.
The line on the Pittsburgh Steelers is one to keep an eye on. The impending possible suspension of their quarterback will hugely effect their odds to win it all.
Betting a Super Bowl winner in April can be considered a science, pure fun or just dumb luck. What it is, it’s big business for the bookmaker.
