NCAA Betting Odds - North Carolina - Michigan State

This one is a no-brainer, right? Well, the folks in Chapel Hill hope so anyway.

If you look at the numbers the Tarheels should walk out of Detroit with their fifth National Championship banner. After all, North Carolina has won five games in the tournament by 12 points or more and routed the Spartans 98-63 in December.

Odds makers are even calling North Carolina heavy favorites heading into this match-up. NCAA betting lines have the Tarheels at around -7.5 with the total sitting near 153.

It may be just a little too easy to overlook Michigan State in this one. The Spartans are playing their best basketball of the season, but can that be enough to knock-off a powerhouse like North Carolina?

I am not sure if that can be done, the Tarheels are loaded with NBA talent, but something tells me that Monday night’s match-up in Detroit will be closer than most think. Last time out, the Spartans were over-matched, out-classed and out-played. That won’t happen again.
