NBA All-Star Roster - Did They Get It Right?
Posted Under: Basketball Betting
Well the NBA All-Star rosters are in and this season is like all others. With 24 players selected, one could always make a strong case for at least 3 or 4 guys that were snubbed in each conference.
One of the more notable names to be left out is Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony. Melo’s teammate Chauncey Billups is in but the omission of Anthony is leaving Nuggets fans scratching their heads. Anthony’s offensive numbers are down a bit this year, that probably hurt him.
The Boston Celtics will be well represented with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, but despite averaging 18.0 points per game and shooting 50.3 percent from the field Ray Allen will be watching from home.
It’s hard to say that these two guys are not among the best in their respected conferences, but who do you leave out? It’s not easy to say.
