Attorney Ted Liggett, the lawyer for suspended Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach says that his client did nothing wrong in the way he treated a player with a “mild” concussion.

That player, of course is Adam James, son of ESPN college football analyst Craig James.

This is a story that has been all over the college football new wire since it broke yesterday. Apparently, James sustained a concussion on December 16th, was examined on the 17th and told not to practice because of the concussion and an elevated heart rate.

That were the “he said, she said” starts. Basically, James says Leach was picking on him and Leach says James is being a baby.

Leach’s lawyer says that the coach was told that James should be kept out of the sun because he was sensitive to the light and it would be better if he was out of the heat.

So, Leach placed him in an equipment room because it was much cooler and darker than the practice field.

James says he was locked in a closet.
