Mega Millions Jackpot Tops $50 Million For Tuesday

After no one was able to match all six numbers to take home the $44 million jackpot in the Mega Millions Lottery last Friday night, tonight’s grand prize has risen to an estimated $56 million to a single winner.

That translates to cash out option of more than $34 million to the winner.

Although no one hit the jackpot on Friday night, Mega Millions still handed out some really nice prizes in the weekend drawing.

Over 570,000 lucky multi-state Mega Millions winners took home more than $3.1 million in cash prizes, including two players that matched five out of six numbers for an incredible $250,000.

The winning number were 14, 16, 17, 33, 47 and the Mega Ball number was 23.

Mega Millions is played in 35 states and the District of Columbia.

Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday nights at 11PM Eastern Time. Drawings are held at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia.
