“He’s a quarterback,” that’s what Denver Broncos Josh McDaniels had to say about the player he traded three picks to Baltimore for.

McDaniels has staked his reputation as an NFL head coach on the left arm of Tim Tebow.

According to the coach, he does not envision Tebow as anything other than a signal caller. Some believe he’ll be a fine H-back because of his sturdy stature and hard running style. Others think he’d be a terrific special teams player and their is little doubt about is ability to run a “wild-cat” package.

Most critics believe that Tebow did not do anything in college that showed that he could be an effective NFL passer. In fact, the general consensus on Tebow is just the opposite.

However, McDaniels reiterated that Tebow will be competing for the job that is currently owned by Kyle Orton.
