Gordon Could Be Out For Game Five In Boston

An MRI on Monday confirmed that the Bulls Ben Gordon strained his left hamstring during Game four on Sunday.
The Bulls guard told reporters after the team’s shoot-around that it whether or not he plays in game five would be a game-time decision.
“Not good,” Gordon said when asked how the injury felt. “It didn’t get worse, but it doesn’t feel any better.”
Gordon is averaging 24.8 points per game during the playoffs. He suffered the injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Celtics. He played nearly 33 minutes following the injury after he took a painkilling shot at halftime.
With Gordon officially listed as day to day, the series leading scorer initially vowed to play, however, he may have now changed his tune. Could this be a little gamesmanship by Chicago or has the pain really begun to set in?
I guess we’ll find out at game-time. One thing is for sure. It will be an extremely difficult task for the Bulls to come out on top in Boston without Gordon in the line-up.
