Dancing With The Stars first results show is in the books and with the official voting for the 2010 season now underway, fans saw the shows first casualty on Tuesday night.
The show’s first elimination night ended with former “Charmed” and “Beverly Hills 90210″ star Shannen Doherty being sent home.
Even with the quick exist, Doherty had no regrets. The actress’s father recently had a stroke and, she said, “I did do this for him. My dad doesn’t have his speech 100 percent back yet, but the first words he learned were ‘I love you, He was crying, and he said, ‘I love you and I’m proud of you.’”
Pamela Anderson was a surprise to many experts. The former “Baywatch” bombshell was second to last in the voting despite looking very good on the floor.
Odds makers are calling Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger the favorite. The American pop star is sitting at 3/2 to win it all. Right behind Nicole, United States figure skating champion Evan Lysacek is a 2/1 favorite.
ESPN’s Erin Andrews is another front-runner given 5/1 odds to win it all. NFL superstar Chad Ochocinco is another near the top of the list with 7/1 odds.
