Deal Us In - New York Jets Interested In Jay Cutler
Posted Under: Football Betting
Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler wants out of Denver and according to league sources, the New York Jets have expressed their interest in making a deal for the Pro-Bowler.
Multiple sources say that Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum has contacted the Broncos to let them know that they are very interested in trading for Cutler. The Broncos have clearly stated that the team wants to see if the relationship with their signal caller can be salvaged before making a decision about a potential trade.
True, the Jets have made no official offer and the Broncos have not yet given up on Cutler, but many NFL experts think that the relationship between Cutler and the Broncos organization is beyond repair.
How likely is it that we will see Cutler in green and white in the 2009 season? Well, Denver would likely be looking for an immediate answer at QB and the Jets don’t have that to give. The Broncos would probably looks to a team like Detroit, where they could get the number one pick in the draft. Or, Cleveland where Brady Quinn would be an option.
But stranger things have happened.
