As of right now, Tashard Choice is the Cowboys’ only healthy running back. Choice finished with 82 yards on 18 carries in the victory against the Carolina Panthers last night.

According to team sources, Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones will miss Sunday’s game at Denver with a sprained left knee.

Jones look very good against Carolina before he went down to injury. He gained 94 yards on 8 carries, including a 40-yard run in the third quarter. Incidentally that was the run in which he was injured.

He had an MRI on Tuesday, which revealed the sprain, however team doctors didn’t discuss the possibility of surgery.

After this week, Jones will be reevaluated to see if he can play the following week at Kansas City. Cowboys officials hope Jones will be fully recovered after Dallas’ bye week on Oct. 18.

Cowboys official starter, Marion Barber, missed the Monday night game all together as he is nursing a Strained left quad, but the team says he is close to returning.
