Chip Kelly Sends Refund To Disgruntled Oregon Fan

In the wake of Oregon’s opening game loss to Boise State, some disgruntled Ducks fans have said they wanted their money back after an underwhelming performance.
Well at least Tony Seminary did. So he set an angry email to Oregon coach Chip Kelly about it, just looking to vent not expecting a reply.
Seminary, an Oregon alumnus from the Portland area that attended the game in Boise. He wrote that he was so unhappy with what he saw on the field that night that he felt cheated and he forwarded Kelly an invoice for his travel expenses.
“The product on the field Thursday night is not something I was at all proud of,” said Seminary in the email. “I feel as though I’m entitled to my money back for the trip.”
To Seminary’s surprise, Kelly did reply asking, “What’s your address.”
Sure enough, a check for $439, apparently signed by Kelly, arrived in Seminary’s mailbox. Seminary was so impressed by the gesture, he returned the check to Kelly with a thank-you note, rather than cashing it.
