Brett Favre Will Be In Vikings Purple In 2009

Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress and quarterback Brett Favre have big plans in the next few days. They are reportedly to meet at an undisclosed location to discuss the possibility of the former Packers and Jets quarterback renouncing his retirement from the NFL to play the 2009 season with the Vikings.
Well it was only a matter of time before this year’s instalment of the Brett Favre Circus began. But no speculation this year. It is all but guaranteed that we will see Favre in a Vikings uniform in 2009.
The good old boy from Mississippi has been salivating for a chance to play against his former team since the Packers kicked him to the curb last year.
The Packers purposely sent Favre to the AFC where they would not have to face him; they’re not stupid. But that just fueled Favre’s fire to get back to a team in the NFC North.
Now he will have his wish.
I don’t know if he can survive an entire season at age 40, but he will be ready to play Green Bay.
