Brett Favre Back For A Go With The Vikings

Brett Favre has turned his back on retirement for the second time in as many years, and is coming back for more. This time with the Minnesota Vikings.

“I felt I did everything I possibly could do to get where I need to be,” said Favre. “You’re 39, your arm may not feel like it did at 21. If they were willing to take that chance, I was, too.”

Favre reportedly signed a two year deal with Minnesota that would pay him $12 million this year and $13 million next season.

“I don’t know how I’ll feel a year from now, five years from now, but I didn’t want to say what if,” he said.

Sources say that the 2009 salary payments will be deferred: $4 million over the season, $4 million in March and $4 million in 2011.
