Arizona Cardinals Hand Pittsburgh Their Sixth Title
Posted Under: Football Betting
What happened? I guess it came down to a Pittsburgh Steelers team that had been there before versus an Arizona Cardinals squad not ready to play in a game of this magnitude.
In Arizona, the Cardinals believed they were a team of destiny, and while anyone who watched the game knows, they could have won. I just don’t think they were ready to play in this one.
The Cards committed eleven penalties for over 100 yards. An undisciplined roughing the holder that could have been disastrous. The Steelers only had about 300 yards of total offense. You can’t expect to have bonehead plays and win a Championship.
But, the biggest bonehead on the field, or should I not on the field was Antrel Rolle. The Cardinals safety, while Steelers linebacker James Harrison rumbled toward the end-zone as the half was expiring, got in Larry Fitzgerald way along the side-line. This caused Fitzgerald to be late getting to Harrison.
Unbelievable. I think this is bigger than Bill Buckner or Scott Norwood. Cardinals fans should run Rolle out of town with pitchforks.
