With each passing episode of American Idol, it looks more and more like Crystal Bowersox will be the 2010 winner, but stranger things have happened.
Crystal has looked unbeatable all through the live shows. However, as any bettor will tell you, the idea that any bet is a sure thing is a myth.
Odds makers are calling the line on Crystal about 1/2, not leaving much room to make any money on a Bowersox bet.
A bet that may be a little more exciting is the other side of the scenario.
Who will be voted off next could prove to be more fun. Especially because with every elimination show, there will be a payout.
Odds makers seem to think Aaron Kelly is favorite to get booted off the show next followed by Michael Lynche. Kelly is sitting at about 2/1 to be voted off next, while Big Mike’s odds to go are a little more than 3/1.
Crystal’s odds to be gone after the next elimination show are at about 35/1.
