American Idol moved from nine down to seven on Wednesday night as Katie Stevens and Andrew Garcia were booted off the show.

In a way, Andrews departure was a little bit surprising. After Idol picked their top 24, bookmakers in Vegas had Garcia a clear favorite to win it all. However, as the weeks wore on the only thing clear was; he had to go.

Katie was given the axe even though she seemed to be getting better and better each week, but it was not a total shocker to see her leave.

Now that we are down to the “Lucky Seven,” Crystal Bowersox is still clear the favorite of the bunch with Lee Dewyze a distance second.

If Crystal doesn’t win this thing I will be shocked. Bookmakers are saying her odds are sitting at about 4/5.

The biggest long-shot at this point has to be Tim Urban. I really don’t know why he is still around. Apparently, he is more popular than talented. He is sitting at about a 40 or 50 to 1 shot.
