Allen Iverson Is Done For The Season

The Philadelphia 76ers have lost officially lost Allen Iverson for the season.

Iverson’s second stint with a Philadelphia team that he once led to the NBA Finals ended earlier this week when the Sixers announced he would not be returning.

The former NBA MVP left the team last month returning to Atlanta to be with his family as they deal with an undisclosed illness of his 4-year-old daughter.

Back in December, Iverson made a tearful return to Philadelphia eager to prove he wasn’t finished after disastrous stints in Detroit and Memphis.

At times, he played well and show some flashes of the Iverson of old, however he did struggle at times getting accustom to his teammates and the offense.
