A-Roid? Alex Rodriguez Tested Positive In For Steroids
Posted Under: Baseball Betting
According to reports coming from Sports Illustrated, Major League Baseball’s biggest superstar Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids in 2003. Apparently, Rodriguez’s name appeared on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
This list is saying that A-Rod tested positive for testosterone and an anabolic steroid called Primobolan while playing for the Texas Rangers.
There was no penalty for a positive test in 2003, these were random tests that MLB was using to see if the league would impose random drug testing for 2004. But, Primobolan, also known by the chemical name Methenolone, is illegal in the US.
With Spring Training right around the corner, what does this mean for the Yankees club-house? What will this do the Major League Baseball itself? And what is this going to do to Alex Rodriguez’s reputation.
Well the New York club-house will be a zoo as usual, this will just give A-Rod a reason to say “No comment.” For the league, MBL will take a PR hit but, it will survive. Once the season starts and the media has some else to talk about is will die down.
